ABORIGINAL SYMBOLISM AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY DESIGN

I designed a set of Aboriginal symbols and an Acknowledgement of Country for Ipswich Art Gallery to support learning about symbolism. The symbols include animals, concentric circles for unity, and a waterhole with running water for progress, showing two cultures walking together.

The Acknowledgement of Country sits at the centre of an organic concentric circle, finished with dot work and simple lines.
