Privacy policy

Last updated 28 October 2026

I'm Danielle Leedie Gray (ABN 93 628 105 282), an artist and graphic designer based in Ipswich, Queensland. This policy explains what personal information I collect through danielleleediegray.com.au, how I use it and how you can contact me about it.

What I collect

  • When you buy a film licence or other product: your name, email address and phone number (if given), your organisation's name, the licensed site and its address, your billing details, and your order history. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. I don't see or store your full card details.
  • When you send an enquiry or contact form: your name, email address, organisation and the details you include.
  • When you join my mailing list: your email address and name (if given).
  • When you visit the website: my website platform, Squarespace, and Google Analytics use cookies to collect general usage information, such as pages visited, how you arrived at the site, device and browser type, and approximate location. I use this only in summary form to understand how the site is used, and not to identify you. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner when you first visit. You can decline, and you can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link on this site or in your browser settings. Essential cookies, which are needed for the site, shopping cart and checkout to work, are always used.

How I use it

  • to process your order and deliver your film, caption file and named licence
  • to keep a record of your licence: the organisation, site, film, date and terms version you agreed to
  • to reply to your enquiries
  • to send newsletters, if you've signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email
  • to meet my tax and record-keeping obligations

I won't sell your information. I won't name your organisation publicly as a customer without your permission.

Who I share it with

I share information only with the services I use to run my business:

  • Squarespace (website, shop, forms and email newsletters)
  • Stripe and PayPal (payments)
  • Google Workspace (my business email, collaborate@danielleleediegray.com.au) and Google Drive (secure delivery of film files to the email address on your order)
  • Google Analytics (website usage statistics)
  • Plutio (my DLG Client Studio portal, used for design clients' projects, files, proposals and invoices)
  • Hnry (my tax, accounting and invoicing service as a sole trader, which receives income and invoice records)

Some of these services, including Squarespace, Stripe, PayPal and Google, may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. I don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long I keep it

I keep licence records for as long as your licence continues, because they show what your organisation is licensed to do. I keep order and payment records for at least five years for tax purposes. Enquiries that don't lead to an order are deleted when they're no longer needed.

Keeping it secure

I store records in password-protected accounts and on my own secure devices, and I limit what I keep to what I need.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by emailing collaborate@danielleleediegray.com.au. I'll respond within a reasonable time. I may need to keep some records, such as tax records, where the law requires it.

Questions or complaints

Please email me at collaborate@danielleleediegray.com.au. If you're not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes

If I update this policy, I'll post the new version here with its date.
